FATHERS COOROY AUTO WRECKERS FALCON CLOSELY FOLLOWED BY HIS
YOUNGER BROTHER AIDAN IN THE SISTER FALCON.
OUR ASCF JUNIORS HAD THERE HANDS FULL WITH A CHALLENGING TRACK

CHARLIE BROWN HAD THREE HEAT WINS AND LED THE WAY OFF POLE FOR
THE 15 LAP FEATURE EVENT BUT WAS SENT TO THE REAR OF FIELD EARLY
IN THE PIECE PROVIDING THE CROWD WITH A FANTASTIC SPECTACLE, A
COMEBACK THAT EVENTUATED IN A RACE WIN. LOCAL JUNIORS, STEPHEN

“IT WAS THE BIGGEST NIGHT THE CLUB HAS HOSTED AT THE MOUNTAIN IN
YEARS, THE TRACK WAS UNFORGIVING AND PROVED A CHALLENGE FOR EVEN
THE MOST EXPERIENCED DRIVERS. NO DOUBT THERE WILL BE MANY
DRIVERS AND CREWS, (INCLUDING MYSELF), SCRATCHING OUR HEADS
WONDERING WHERE TO START WITH REPAIRS”.
“AS USUAL, VOLENTEERS AND ORGANISERS MADE THE NIGHT A FANTASTIC
SPECTACLE, WE LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR COMPANY ON DEC 13 FOR ANOTHER

I am still Secretary for
another season and Brian English is now our Treasurer. Brian
will be replacing Geoff Bingham who has done a Wonderful Job
over the Previous Years. We would like to thank the Previous
Committee for all their time and Commitment to the club. And
Welcome the new Committee.
Now on a different Note we
will be having a Working Bee on the 16th and 17th

The reason this Working Bee
is over the 2 days is we have had a wonderful Donation of Paint
from Crescent Paints so as we can do a revamp on the club house,
tower and toilets
So there fore we would love
everyone’s help to accomplish this task over these 2 days as
well as a spring clean for the canteen and some mowing and a
general clean up before the start of the new season so if anyone
can help please bring any tools such as Mowers, Whipper Snippers,
Paint Scrapers, Paint Brushes, Buckets, and Cleaning Cloths
Gerni’s and anything else you think
would be Handy and thank you in advance.
Daylight Machinery has been
scheduled for the 17th August also for ASCF Cars and
any new cars needing to be registered
(PLEASE NOTE QSCA CARS
REGISTERED FROM
LAST SEASON DO NOT NEED DAYLIGHT MACHINERY).
We also have a Practice day
scheduled for the 13th September 2008
Cost for the Practice day
will be $30.00 per race car and we will be selling Sausages and
Soft Drinks at the Canteen. Also any Volunteers who can give a
hand on the day would be greatly appreciated.
