Gympie’s
Mothar Mountain Speedway is located
just to the south of the Golden City
on Hall Road. It’s really easy to
find; just turn off the Bruce
Highway and around the Corvette
Queensland corner.
Gympie’s Mothar Mountain Speedway is
unique in the world of speedway tracks. It is not an oval nor is
it flat. All this adds up to close, exciting and at times hectic
speedway sedan car competition on the circuit affectionately
called – The Mountain.
Being more triangular in shape, with
a hairpin corner, it is known as “The Home of Champions.”
The Mountain is indeed Home to many
state champions, both past and present.
It
proudly boasts the current National Modified Production
Champion, Todd Doyle, as a club member & Queensland Modified
Production Champion Aidan Raymont.
Competitors across the nation still
agree, “If you can go fast on the Mountain, then you can go fast
anywhere.”
For a fantastic night of first class
speedway sedan action where the whole family will enjoy a
quality night of entertainment; there is only one place to be on
a speedway Saturday night – Mothar Mountain Speedway, Gympie.
